Suspect arrested for attempting assault on minor

LAHORE:Kahna police apprehended an accused, who attempted to assault a 7-year old girl sexually. Accused Khurram tried to rape a baby girl, who was fetching water from a mosque. The accused was overpowered when the victim raised a hue and cry.

Meanwhile, Defence-C police detained four suspects and recovered firearms from their possession. Shahdara police arrested five accused for displaying weapons on a pickup truck. Chung police detained accused Ahmad Raza for aerial firing and illegal display of weapons. Meanwhile, Police Response Unit foiled a kite smuggling attempt in Ichhara and detained accused Imran and recovered over 50 kites from his possession.
