Two murder suspects arrested

LAHORE : Johar Town investigation police arrested two suspects involved in murder of a 38-year-old woman in Johar Town, whose body was later dumped in the BS Canal near Changa Manga, Kasur district.

The accused were identified as M Waqas, the victim's paramour, and his accomplice Khawar. The case came to light when the victim's son filed a complaint at the Johar Town police station, reporting the kidnapping of his mother, 'N'. During the investigation, it was revealed that Waqas, an acquaintance of the victim, had killed her over a minor argument.

Following the murder, Waqas, with the help of Khawar, placed the victim’s body in a sack and disposed of it in the BS Canal in Kasur district.
