LAHORE : Several fire incidents were reported in different parts of the City during the last three days.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in any of the incidents.
According to rescue officials, a fire broke out at a workshop belonging to a private bus company on Bund Road. Firefighters rushed to the scene and battled the flames before the fire could spread further.
Another incident occurred in a house in the Bhatti Gate area, where residents alerted authorities after noticing smoke and flames. Timely intervention by rescue teams helped to contain the fire and prevent major damage.
Meanwhile, a shop inside a commercial plaza in Urdu Bazaar also caught fire, causing panic among traders. Rescue 1122 teams managed to control the situation before the fire could spread to adjacent shops.
A significant fire was also reported at a furniture warehouse in the Township area, where highly flammable materials made firefighting operations particularly challenging. However, firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control.
Additionally, a paper godown near Corporation Chowk on Bund Road was engulfed in flames, posing a serious threat due to the combustible nature of stored materials.
Firefighters managed to prevent a major disaster by containing the fire.
