Gas leak explosion in Sohrab Goth injures three

A gas leak explosion at a house near Sohrab Goth Macchar Colony left a man, his wife and their young child severely injured.
The incident occurred on the third day of Eidul Fitr on Wednesday when a gas leak resulted in a blast, causing severe burns to the victims. They were initially rushed to a private hospital and later transferred to the Civil Hospital burns ward for further treatment.
The injured were identified as 35-year-old Jahanzeb, son of Noor, 28-year-old Kalsoom and their five-year-old son Shahzaib.
Police said Jahanzeb and his young son Shahzaib were in a critical state. An Edhi Foundation spokesperson said the blast was caused by a gas leak from a cylinder.
