LAHORE: The highly anticipated anthem of HBL Pakistan Super League X, titled ‘X DEKHO’, has been unveiled on Wednesday. The anthem was premiere on the official HBL PSL YouTube channel and is now free to air on television channels across Pakistan, stated PCB official statement.
The anthem features an electrifying mix of musical talent, bringing together some of Pakistan’s biggest artists. Making his debut in the PSL arena is Punjabi music sensation Abrar-Ul-Haq, known for his energetic performances and iconic hits. He is joined by Ali Zafar, a beloved singer and songwriter who has previously delivered some of the most popular PSL anthems. Also making her PSL anthem debut is Natasha Baig, a powerful vocalist known for her unique style, along with the dynamic rap artist Talha Anjum, whose distinctive hip-hop flair adds a modern touch to the song.
The theme of ‘X DEKHO’ resonates with the milestone that HBL PSL has reached—completing ten successful years as Pakistan’s premier T20 cricket league. The anthem embodies the energy, excitement, and passion that define the tournament, while also highlighting the deep connection between cricket, music, and the fans.
HBL PSL CEO Salman Naseer shared his vision for the anthem: “The vision for this year’s anthem is to celebrate a milestone – ten years of HBL Pakistan Super League. The anthem is thus named X Dekho, representing pride over the achievements and the hurdles overcome by the HBL PSL over the last decade. “The four artists from different backgrounds, genres, and vocal ranges reflect the diversity of Pakistan’s talent. This year, the idea was to create a song that is fresh, yet familiar and resonates across fans globally.”
The upcoming edition of the HBL PSL will take place across four cities – Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi – from April 11 to May 18.
