LAHORE: LAHORE: International Textile Limited (ITL), one of Pakistan’s largest towel manufacturers and exporters, is modernising its operations with RISE with SAP, a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. This transition will enhance efficiency, provide real-time insights, and support future advancements in AI and sustainability.
Managing Director of SAP Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Bahrain Saquib Ahmad said, “ITL’s adoption of RISE with SAP marks a significant step towards digital transformation in Pakistan’s textile sector. By leveraging our cloud-based ERP solutions, ITL will enhance operational agility, improve scalability and drive greater efficiency. We are proud to support ITL in achieving its business objectives through cutting-edge technology.”
ITL has been using SAP’s on-premises ERP Central Component (ECC) system for over a decade. To remain competitive in a rapidly evolving textile industry, the company identified the need for a scalable, integrated system. The implementation of RISE with SAP will streamline processes, optimise decision-making, and improve business visibility across departments.
“We needed a solution that would provide seamless integration, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve user experience,” said Asghar Ali Khan, chief operating officer of ITL. “RISE with SAP offers a robust cloud-based infrastructure that aligns with our long-term vision, empowering us to respond more effectively to market demands.”
The textile sector is the largest contributor to the country’s exports, with the US being its biggest market. As a key player in this sector, ITL’s strategic adoption of RISE with SAP will strengthen its competitive position. The transformation will deliver benefits such as enhanced automation, scalability, real-time analytics, and AI-powered insights, driving operational excellence. Furthermore, the integration of sustainability-focused features will reinforce ITL’s commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
