QUETTA: A meeting chaired by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti reviewed security arrangements for Eid, the situation of national highways and the overall law and order situation in the province.
The meeting was attended by Balochistan chief secretary, additional chief secretary (home), inspector general of police and other senior officials.
According to sources, officials provided the CM with a detailed briefing on the current security situation in the province. The meeting appreciated successful security operation in Kalat and agreed to expand the ongoing operations against terrorists.
The chief minister took key decisions to enhance operational capacity of security forces and issued firm directives for maintaining law and order. He instructed all security institutions to maintain close coordination and implement more effective measures to ensure public safety.
