Shehbaz greets Muslim world leaders on Eid
Emir of Qatar warmly reciprocated prime minister’s Eid greetings and conveyed his best wishes for people of Pakistan
LAHORE: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday held telephonic calls with the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and His Majesty Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, and conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes and the brotherly people of Qatar and Oman on Eidul Fitr.
The Emir of State of Qatar warmly reciprocated the prime minister’s Eid greetings and conveyed his best wishes for the people of Pakistan.
While fondly recalling his visit to Doha last October, the prime minister conveyed his deep appreciation to the Amir as well as Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa, for hosting the Manzar cultural exhibition, which was inaugurated in his presence.
The prime minister proposed the idea of having a similar exhibition hosted in Lahore, which the Emir very graciously accepted. The prime minister also renewed his invitation to the Emir to undertake an official visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also held a telephonic call with His Majesty Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, on Saturday to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to the Sultan as well as the brotherly people of Oman on the auspicious occasion of Eidul-Fitr.
The prime minister also reiterated his invitation to the Sultan of Oman and requested him to undertake an official visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience. His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik warmly reciprocated the prime minister’s Eid greetings and conveyed his best wishes for the people of Pakistan.
