Domingo takes charge as Lahore Qalandars’ head coach
LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars have announced the appointment of Russell Domingo as their head coach for the much-anticipated HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
Domingo succeeds Darren Gough, who stepped down from the role due to personal commitments. A seasoned cricketing mind, Domingo has an impressive coaching portfolio, having previously led South Africa’s and Bangladesh’s national teams.
Sharing his excitement, Domingo remarked, “I am really thrilled to be a part of Lahore Qalandars for the 2025 PSL season. I look forward to meeting the players, engaging with the management, and preparing for what promises to be an exciting campaign. We know our faithful fans will be right behind us, and I aim to make them proud in the weeks to come.”
Lahore Qalandars’ COO, Sameen Rana, expressed his optimism about the new addition to the team’s leadership: “We are delighted to welcome Russell Domingo as our head coach for PSL 10. His vast international experience and tactical expertise make him a vital asset for the Qalandars. We’re confident he will significantly contribute to our quest for success this season.”
