In today's digital age, individuals who have social media platforms and share their opinions call themselves journalists. Is spreading sensational or fake news considered journalism? Journalism is a critical pillar of democracy, requiring accuracy and ethical responsibility.

Independent researchers who provide verified information can be considered citizen journalists, but those who spread misinformation for views and revenue cannot be classified as journalists. A crackdown on fake news is not an attack on the media but a necessary step to protect the public interest.
