Islamabad: Russian humanitarian aid for the needy people was delivered during a special ceremony here.
Over 30 tons of aid included food, medicine, clothing and other essential goods, which came in from Moscow by a special flight of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with the support of the Russian Embassy in Pakistan and was handed over to the Pakistan Red Crescent Society for distribution.
The ceremony was attended by Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev, spokesperson for the Foreign Office Shafqat Ali Khan, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NDMA.
