Traffic police issue plan for Youm-al-Quds rally
Traffic police on Thursday issued a traffic plan for the Youm-al-Quds rally. On the 27th of Ramazan, following Friday prayers, a religious group would hold a rally from Numaish to Tibet Centre.
Citizens were advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. Traffic coming from Teen Hatti or Lasbela could take Guru Mandir, Soldier Bazaar, or Jail Chowrangi via PP Chowrangi to reach their destination. Vehicles from Regal or Ready Street heading towards Tibet Center would be diverted to Preedy Chowk and Saddar Dawakhana towards PP Chowrangi.
Traffic from Fresco or Eidgah Chowk heading to Tibet Center would be redirected via Jubilee to Aga Khan III Road, turning left at Uncle Saria, and proceeding to Soldier Bazaar or Nishtar Road. Vehicles from Daudpota Road or Lucky Star would be diverted at Preedy Chowk towards Saddar Dawakhana and PP Chowrangi. Traffic coming from Garden via Aga Khan III Road would be rerouted through Soldier Bazaar towards Guru Mandir. Citizens were requested to cooperate with law enforcement and follow the given instructions to avoid inconvenience. For guidance, they could contact the Traffic Police Helpline at 1915.
