LAHORE:In a bid to ensure fair travel for passengers during the upcoming Eidul Fitr holidays, DIG Motorway Police Syed Farid Ali has ordered a crackdown on transport owners involved in overcharging fares and overloading.
The campaign, which began on March 26 and will continue until April 6, targets buses, vans, and other passenger vehicles on national highways, with officials directed to not only impose fines on violators but also ensure refunds for overcharged commuters.
