CM, Turkish CG agree to enhance cooperation in education sector
Turkish Consul General in Karachi Cemal Sangu on Tuesday met Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah at the CM House. The meeting was also attended by the programme coordinator of the Turkish organisation TIKA, Halil Ibrahim Basaran.
The meeting took into consideration ties between Turkey and Pakistan and affairs of mutual interest. The CM told the Turkish diplomat that the Sindh government and the Turkish organisation had been working in the education, agricultural, and cultural sectors of the province.
The Turkish consul general told the CM that Turkey had been collaborating with Pakistan in the education, agriculture, and cultural sectors. In this regard, Turkey has been partnering with the Agriculture University in Tando Jam for research on different aspects of farming work. Both the CM and the CG agreed to enhance cooperation between the two countries in education.
