BAHAWALPUR: The Counter-Terrorism Department arrested three terrorists of a defunct outfit, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan. According to a CTD spokesman, ASIs Muhammad Shakir and Zawar Hussain intercepted Muhammad Tayyab of Khanewal, Muhammad Asif of Chak 152/GB and Muhammad Javed of Jalalpur Pirwala when they were alighting from an Uch Sharif-bound bus at Mohanarray Wali Mori.
The policemen recovered two hand grenades, 2kg IED (explosive material) and pistols from them. The alleged terrorists have been shifted to an unknown place for interrogation.
