Linde, Carey among key adjustments in PSL-10 replacement draft
LAHORE: The replacement draft for HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 took place online Monday, bringing several adjustments to franchise lineups ahead of the tournament.
With a few players unavailable for partial or full seasons, franchises made key replacement picks to strengthen their squads. Peshawar Zalmi: South Africa’s George Linde has been drafted as a full-season replacement for Corbin Bosch in the Diamond Category. Additionally, the team has reserved their replacement pick in the Gold Category for Nahid Rana.
For Islamabad United, Australia’s Alex Carey has been included as a partial replacement for Rassie van der Dussen, who had been drafted in the Supplementary Category. Karachi Kings franchise reserved the pick for Silver Category player Litton Das, ensuring flexibility as the tournament progresses.
Five players are expected to miss a few matches due to other commitments. These are: Nahid Rana (Peshawar Zalmi, Gold Category); Litton Das (Karachi Kings, Silver Category); Rassie van der Dussen (Islamabad United, Supplementary Category); Mark Chapman (Quetta Gladiators, Platinum Category); Kane Williamson (Karachi Kings, Supplementary Category).
