PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s stay in Islamabad got longer than expected as he has been waiting for four days for a meeting with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
“While four days have passed, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has yet to meet the PTI founder,” sources said.
Sources indicated that the chief minister intended to brief the PTI founder on his performance and consult him on important decisions.
Spokesperson for the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faraz Mughal, told the Geo News that Ali Amin Gandapur always made key decisions after consulting the PTI founder, and for this purpose, they have also approached the court. According to the spokesperson, the chief minister had the authority to visit any prison, and it was hoped that the meeting would take place soon.
