PESHAWAR: Hundreds of citizens turned up to donate blood for cancer patients at an urgent blood donation camp organized by Rotary Club to address the critical shortage of blood at a premier cancer hospital.

The camp was arranged at Peshawar Model School Boys-III, Ring Road, with the cooperation of the school management and staff. Special thanks were given to Director Ghayur Sethi, Asad Sethi, and Principal Saima Talat for facilitating the event and ensuring its smooth execution.

“We are deeply thankful to everyone who came forward to donate blood today. Your efforts are truly invaluable to the patients at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, who rely on such donations for their treatment,” Sethi said.

“We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who attempted to donate but could not due to medical reasons. Your willingness to participate speaks volumes about your commitment to this cause, and we appreciate it greatly,” he added.

In addition to the generous blood donors, the Rotary Club also expressed their appreciation for the dedication of the Shaukat Khanum Hospital team, who ensured the success of the camp. This collective effort highlights the power of community collaboration in the fight against cancer with a shared goal of saving lives and providing critical care to those in need, Sethi concluded.
