Ikhtiar Wali claims PTI incapable of leading movement

NOWSHERA: Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) leader and coordinator to prime minister, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had lost its momentum and was no longer capable of running any significant movement.

He remarked that by November 26, whatever resources and energy PTI had were completely exhausted.During his visit to Nowshera to offer condolences on the passing of senior journalist Mushtaq Paracha, Ikhtiar Wali Khan paid tribute to the late journalist, acknowledging his contributions to the field of journalism. He stated that Mushtaq Paracha was his respected teacher during matriculation and that he held deep respect and affection for him.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Ikhtiar Wali Khan criticised PTI’s current political strategy, stating that the party’s “silencer is now completely useless.” He alleged that the PTI attempted to use Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s influence for its political maneuvers, but their tactics have failed. He emphasized that Maulana Fazlur Rehman won’t allow his platform to be used for others’ political gains and that any alliance between him and PTI was impossible.He further elaborated that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has both political and ideological differences with PTI.
