Rawalpindi : The martyrdom anniversary of Amir-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (AS) was also observed in the Rawalpindi on Saturday with religious fervour, with which the programmes of the ‘World Days of Mourning’ came to an end.
On this occasion, mourning ceremonies were held in the Imambargahs of Rawalpindi and surrounding localities, and the symbolic coffin of Hazrat Ali was taken out in procession. The coffin procession was taken out from Ali Masjid, Satellite Town under the auspices of the District Days of Aza Committee of Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqh Jafariya (TNFJ), says a press release.TNFJ chief Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi participated in the procession and took part in the pilgrimage of the relics. The Mukhtar Force and Ibrahim Scouts performed security duties in these mourning processions.
The procession of the coffin of Hazrat Ali was taken out from Imambargah Asna Ashri, Gracy Line, Chaklala, which passed through its designated routes and ended after reaching back to Imambargah. The mourning group Dua-e-Zainab (A.S.) and other mourning organisations of the city participated in the mourning.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the 23rd night of Ramazan, the day of the revelation of the Quran, established by Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the night of the 23rd of Ramazan will be performed in all mosques, Imambargahs and religious institutions of the country.
