ISLAMABAD: The prime minister has issued new instructions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of work at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
A new procedure has been formulated to receive orders from the prime minister. After the approval of prime minister, the Cabinet Division has issued an Office Memorandum (OM).
The OM states to make working of Prime Minister’s Office (Public) effective and efficient, prime minister has directed all federal secretaries and other officers to send all their summaries through PM Adviser Tauqir Shah. All the ministries, divisions, attached departments, agencies under federal government will also route all their notes, papers, cases and all correspondence in the same manner for prime minister’s review. The Cabinet Division said the order will be effective immediately.
