ISLAMABAD: Important appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy. Secretary to the Prime Minister and a Grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service Asadur Rehman Gilani has been transferred and posted as Secretary, National Heritage Division. The orders of the new secretary to the Prime Minister have not been issued yet.
Hassan Nasir Jami, Secretary, National Heritage Division and a Grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred and made OSD in the Establishment Division.
Muhammad Usman Chachar, Managing Director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan and a Grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division, while with the approval of the federal cabinet, Muhammad Ayub Chaudhry has been appointed Managing Director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan on deputation.
Meanwhile, the appointments and transfers of officers of the Police Service of Pakistan have been made. The services of Captain (retd) Asim Khan, a Grade 20 officer of the Police Service, awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division, have been handed over to the Balochistan government, while the services of OSD Shahzad Akbar, a Grade 20 officer of the Police Service, have been handed over to the Balochistan government.
Furthermore, the transfer of Police Service Grade 19 officer Ali Sher Jakhrani from the Balochistan government to the Motorway Police has been cancelled and he has been directed to continue his services in the Balochistan government. The Establishment Division has issued official notifications of the orders in this regard.
