RBISE officials visit examination centres

Rawalpindi:Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE), Muhammad Adnan Khan, stated that three candidates were caught cheating using modern technology, and cases have been registered against them.

During the first annual Matriculation Examination 2025, Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan visited various examination centres, including Government Gordon College, Rawalpindi; Government Islamia High School No. 4, Liaquat Road, Rawalpindi; Government Islamia Higher Secondary School No. 1, Murree Road, Rawalpindi and Government Waqar-un-Nisa Girls College Centres A and B, Rawalpindi. During his visit, he inspected the lighting arrangements and the seating plan for candidates.

Speaking after the visit, he emphasised that, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, examinations are being conducted transparently across the division. Strict monitoring is being carried out at all examination centres, and Section 144 has been enforced, prohibiting unauthorized individuals from entering the centres. District administration officials are working alongside the board to conduct surprise visits to various examination centres.

Controller of Examinations, Tanveer Asghar Awan, also visited different examination centres. After his visit, he announced the immediate dismissal of examination supervisor Shabana Kosar at Government Boys High School No. 2, Kala Gujran, Jhelum (combined) for violating examination SOPs.
