LAHORE:The government has promoted 16 police officers to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) in Grade 18. The promotions have been granted on a permanent basis in light of the decision made by the Promotion Board, as per the official notification.
The officers promoted included Ahsan Ilahi, Safdar Ali, M Ashraf, Abdul Rehman, Fazal Abbas, Shaukat Ali, and M Abid. Other promoted officers are M Javed Iqbal, Shehzad Rafiq, M Haseeb Raja, Nasir Javed Rana, Zia-ul-Haq, Nadeem Mohibati, Malik M Nadeem, and Abid Hussain Zafar. Shahid Nawaz has also been promoted to Grade 18. Following approval from Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, the S&GAD has issued the official notification.
