Hospital’s security guard detained for theft
LAHORE:A security guard of the Children's Hospital was caught stealing medical disposables on Monday.
Naseerabad police detained Hamza Islam and recovered medical disposables that were stolen by him from the hospital’s supplies. A case has been registered, and the stolen medical items were recovered. During interrogation, the accused revealed the involvement of Javed Masih, Saleem George, and Faisal Masih in the theft.
Body recovered from BRB canal
A decomposed body of an unidentified man of 35-years-old was recovered from the BRB Canal in the Batapur area on Monday. According to the Edhi Foundation, the body appeared to have been in the water for several days. The police shifted the body to the morgue.
Rape suspect held
The Organised Crime Unit of Chuhng police Monday arrested two suspects involved in the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl (A). Accused Nafees and Shafique were traced with the help of modern technology while their accomplice Arbaz was at large. DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza vowed strict action against criminals.
