Islamabad:A high-level delegation of official diplomats from Uzbekistan, along with representatives from the food industry sector, visited The Health Park at Health Services Academy (HSA) today.

The visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, particularly in the fields of healthcare, food industry, and medical infrastructure development.

During the discussions, both sides agreed to collaborate on healthcare advancements, food industry development, and investment opportunities within The Health Park Islamabad. The Uzbek delegation expressed strong interest in investing in The Health Park, recognizing its potential as a world-class healthcare and wellness hub.

A key highlight of the meeting was Uzbekistan’s intent to collaborate on “Doctor’s Enclave,” a specialized residential and professional zone within The Health Park designed for medical professionals.

The Health Park administration briefed the visiting delegation that the Park is envisioned as a comprehensive healthcare and wellness hub, integrating medical services, research, and innovation. Designed to facilitate cutting-edge medical advancements, it aims to serve as a center for healthcare excellence, bringing together top-tier medical professionals, research institutions, and investors to improve Pakistan's health sector. The Health Park is expected to house state-of-the-art hospitals, diagnostic centers, and specialized facilities, making it a one-stop destination for medical care, training, and health-related industries.

One of the key benefits of The Health Park for the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi is its role in enhancing access to quality healthcare. By fostering collaborations with international stakeholders such as Uzbekistan, the initiative is likely to attract foreign investment, leading to better infrastructure, advanced medical technologies, and increased job opportunities in the health sector.

Additionally, the establishment of "Doctor’s Enclave" within the park will provide medical professionals with dedicated living and working spaces, ensuring a well-integrated healthcare ecosystem. This will not only improve patient care but also position the twin cities as a major hub for medical tourism and innovation in the region. This partnership is expected to open avenues for joint healthcare initiatives, technology exchange, and investment in medical infrastructure, further solidifying diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
