Man arrested for alleged assault, filming of minor

PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Peshawar arrested a man on the charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl and recording videos of the crime, officials said on Saturday.

An official said the accused, identified as Bahar Ali, sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl and made a video of the act to blackmail the family. According to authorities, the victim had been attending tuition sessions conducted by the accused. The accused shared the videos with the parents of the girl and threatened them to get the case dismissed.

A mobile phone was seized from the accused in the raid and videos and

pictures were recovered from it.
