SUKKUR: A 30 foot breach in the Faiz Nahar Canal inundated two villages on Saturday. Reports said a breach developed in the Faiz Nahar Canal in village Kandri due to which villages Ali Gohar Awan and Ali Muhammad Sarohi were inundated. Also crops over hundreds of acres became submerged. The breach was, however, plugged after five hours. The victims demanded compensation for damages and called for draining out the water.
