KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs2,800 per tola on Thursday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs309,300 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,400 to Rs265,174. Gold rates increased by $27 to $2,942 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs3,440 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood at Rs2,949.
