Car battery thief arrested

LAHORE:Police arrested a car battery thief with the help of PSCA. A call was received on the Punjab Emergency Helpline 15 from a citizen in the Sheikhupura area, reporting that a car battery had been stolen from a vehicle parked outside his house. Based on the information provided by the caller, the Safe City Virtual Patrolling Officer initiated monitoring of the area using Safe City cameras. During live surveillance, the thief was spotted moving through various city roads after committing the theft. The suspect’s movements were monitored with the help of cameras.
The Virtual Patrolling Officer informed the police team present on the relevant road about the suspect's location. The police acted swiftly and arrested the thief on the spot.
