TIMERGARA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand on Saturday announced result of the Secondary School Certificates (SSC) examination for the year 2016.
A total of 80,337 students appeared in the examination, out of which 59,994 were declared successful. The overall result remained 74.67 percent.
Student of Malakand Public School and College Dargai, Naazneen Wahid, clinched first position in the board by securing 1,016 marks out of 1100 whereas Muhammad Suleman of Allama Iqbal Model School and College stood second with 1,011 marks. The third position was won by Palwasha Munir of Malakand Public School and College and Aiman Khan of University Public School Chakdarra, both securing 1,010 marks. A total of 41,634 students appeared for grade-9 examination, out of which 29,497 were declared successful whereas a total of 38,703 students appeared in grade-10 examination, of whom 30,497 were declared as successful. The overall result of grade-9 students remained 70.85 percent while that of the grade 10th students was 78.8 percent.
