Police band staff recruitment advertised
LAHORE:An advertisement has been issued for the recruitment of band staff in Punjab Police. The recruitment process of constables for band staff has started in various districts including Lahore.
Punjab Police spokesperson shared the details that the age limit for constable band staff has been set at 18 to 30 years and candidates with expertise in the relevant field will be eligible for recruitment. Candidates can submit the application form for recruitment till March 20. 10 percent quota has been allocated for women and ex-servicemen while five percent quota has been allocated for minority citizens.
The recruited candidates will be posted in Lahore, Telecommunication, Sheikhupura, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Multan Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur. The recruitment board will oversee the recruitment process and candidates will pass through a transparent procedure after which Candidates who meet the rules and regulations and merit will be recruited. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed the officers that the recruitment process should be completed with complete transparency and in accordance with the issued SOPs.
