Wahab Riaz excels in Lahore T20 cricket trials

LAHORE: Former Test cricketer and PCB Head of Mentors, Wahab Riaz, made a notable return to the cricket field, participating in a Lahore Region Cricket Association trial match at Aligarh Ground.
Representing Lahore Greens, Wahab demonstrated his all-round capabilities, taking one wicket for 25 runs in three overs and dismissing young batsman Rana Arsalan. With the bat, he contributed 31 runs, including three sixes.
The match was part of an ongoing trial series for team selection ahead of the National T20 Cricket Tournament. Wahab’s participation has generated significant interest among cricket fans, sparking speculation about a potential comeback to competitive cricket.
