Book on Kohat history gifted to official

KOHAT: Noted poet, writer and former deputy medical superintendent of the District Headquarters Hospital Dr Younas Nadeem presented his new book Saniha-e-Kohat 1924 as gift to the Deputy Director Food Authority Kamran Yousafzai.

His new book holds historical significance as it has shed light on crucial events that took place in Kohat a century ago.Speaking on the occasion, Dr Younas Nadeem said that his effort served as a historical document for the new generation. The purpose of writing this book, he added, was to preserve past events that were an essential part of Kohat’s history.

Deputy Director Food Authority Kamran Yousafzai expressed his gratitude to Dr Younas Nadeem for this valuable gift, saying that his book would be a great resource for those passionate about research and reading.

The event not only served as a platform for intellectual and literary discussion but also paid tribute to Dr Younas Nadeem’s relentless dedication and hard work in preserving Kohat’s historical heritage.On this occasion, the literary and academic circles appreciated Dr Younas Nadeem’s book “Saniha-e-Kohat 1924” or “The Tradgy of Kohat 1924” as a valuable contribution.
