Gold rates up Rs1,500 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs1,500 per tola on Monday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold rates reached Rs301,500 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,286 to Rs258,487.
Gold rates increased by $12 to $2,869 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates increased by Rs30 to Rs3,270 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs26 to Rs2,803.
