Pregnant woman stabbed to death for love marriage

GUJRANWALA: A pregnant woman was killed by her family for contracting love marriage at Butranwaliwala.
Muqadas had contracted love marriage with Tauseef about three years ago. On Thursday, Muqadas came to a clinic for checkup with her mother-in-law. In the meantime, Muqadas’ mother Eman also reached there and took her with her, saying that she would look after her. Later, Eman along with her son Adeel allegedly stabbed her to death.
SELF-IMMOLATION: A man attempted self-immolation over a domestic issue at Sialkot Bypass.
Abid quarreled with his wife Huma when she demanded money for Eid shopping. Later, in a fit of frustration, he attempted self-immolation. As a result, he received serious burns. He was shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
