WANA: A cop embraced martyrdom when armed assailants attacked a police station in South Waziristan on Saturday night.
“Armed individuals attacked the Wana Tehsil Police Station in Shakai from two sides,” said an official, adding, the police responded with intense retaliatory fire.
The exchange of fire, he said, lasted for an hour in which Police Constable Sadiq Khan embraced martyrdom.
