DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police raided the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s provincial Minister for Revenue Ali Amin Gandapur as he had reportedly taken away ballot boxes from a polling station on Sunday.The police had lodged a case against him because he along with his brother Umar Ali Gandapur, a candidate for district council, allegedly took away the ballot boxes from Hemath Adda polling station when vote count was underway. Meanwhile, giving his viewpoint, Ali Amin Gandapur denied the allegations.“I received complaints about illegal ballots being cast at the polling station during counting in favour of the opposition candidates,” he said, adding that he and his brother reached the polling station to handle the situation but no one had taken any ballot box.The minister said that he would resign if the allegations were proved.
