KARAK: Some armed persons on Tuesday opened fire on the police and polio workers to stop them from vaccinating children in Sarki Lawagher area in Karak, however, no loss of life was reported.
District Police Officer, Karak, Shahbaz Ilahi and Deputy Superintendent of Police Takht-e-Nusrati reached the spot along with a heavy contingent of police. They started a search operation in the area but due to the hard access area the anti-social elements managed to escape the scene. The police used drone cameras to chase them but did not succeed.
