ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif administered the oath to members of the Youth Council at the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance Summit in Islamabad.
The prime minister conferred the award on Ali Saif, the youngest member of the Youth Council and the head of the “Milkar” organization.
The youngest environmental champion Umar Saif said that youth need to do the most work for climate change.
Talking to “Geo News”, he said that Pakistan is a country of youth, which means that 70 percent of Pakistan’s population is youth, and when the smog came, the youth planted more than 100,000 trees and distributed 100,000 masks.
He said that I myself am an eco-friendly youth and recently we installed a large number of bird feeders. I would like to request all the people to also become eco-friendly.
He said that we plan to install bird feeders all over Pakistan by 2030. It is worth remembering that “Milkar” Pakistan won the Youth Excellence Award at the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance Summit 2025.
Milkar Pakistan has previously won national and international awards such as the Commonwealth Innovation Award and the PASHA “Best Community Service” Gold Award. It is worth remembering that “Milkar” is Pakistan’s largest volunteer network, which is actively working to promote healthy activities across Pakistan. The youth present at the Islamabad event said that we should go towards nature and we have to plant more trees to make the environment pleasant.
