ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will chair a federal cabinet meeting on Thursday (today) to take up a 13-point agenda for consideration and approval.
The cabinet will consider ordering an inquiry into the former aviation minister’s irresponsible statement about the qualification and abilities of PIA pilots during the PTI regime.
The meeting will approve the Middle East Green Initiative Charter besides considering a summary for making service dues to the ex-servicemen under the Prime Minister’s Assistance Package, establishment of special courts in Islamabad, reorganization of Ehtesab Court No 3, appointment of new chairman of Karachi Port Trust and board of governors for the National Institute of Health.
The federal cabinet will also approve changes in quota seats for health education in the federal capital and ratify an agreement reached between the customs authorities of Pakistan and Azerbaijan regarding Estate Customs Authority. The cabinet will also okay decisions taken by the cabinet committee on disposal of legislative cases taken in its meeting on Jan 22.
