ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has recommended appointment of Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat (BPS-20) PMS Officer as secretary Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan on deputation basis for one year.
The committee, headed by Justice Yahya Afridi, chief justice of Pakistan/ chairman of the Law and Justice Commission, and comprising Justice Ayesha Malik, judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and Justice Shahid Waheed, judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, for the selection of a suitable candidate for the vacant slot of secretary, Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan, conducted interviews of the candidates, nominated by the provincial chief secretaries, who possess extensive experience in development and management.
Based on the assessment of qualifications, expertise, and suitability for the role, the committee nominated Tanzeela Sabahat for the position of Secretary (BS-21) of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan on deputation for one year.
Ms. Sabahat is currently serving as Secretary Science, Technology & Information Technology, Government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and brings with her a lot of administrative experience and expertise in governance and institutional management, said a press release issued here.
