ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on the acquittal pleas of PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana-II case.
IHC Justice Inam Amin Minhas heard the appeals of the accused against the decision of a trial court. The petitioners’ lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar and FIA Prosecutor Umair Majeed appeared. At the outset, Salman requested the court to transfer the case to any other bench as it has already been heard by senior judges of high court. The lawyer said he didn’t want to file a formal request in this regard and prayed to the court to consider this point without giving a new date.
