RAWALPINDI: Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand Tuesday recorded the statement of another prosecution witness in the Toshakhana-II case against the PTI founder chairman and his wife Bushra Bibi.

Bushra Bibi’s lawyer has completed the cross-examination of two witnesses, including the 3rd Secretary of the Pakistani Consulate in New York, Muhammad Fahim, after which the court adjourned the hearing until February 3.

On Tuesday, Imran and Bushra were produced in the court. A total of eight witnesses have been recorded and the cross-examination of five witnesses has been completed so far. Bushra Bibi’s lawyer has completed the cross-examination of three witnesses.

The prosecutor submitted an objection to Mashal Yousafzai’s power of attorney in the court and took the position that he had filed his power of attorney in the court despite his suspended license. He requested the court to take action on this professional misconduct.
