PIC doctors’ scuffle being probed

LAHORE:In the backdrop of a scuffle between doctors in PIC, the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SHC&MED) has directed Senior Registrar Cardiology Dr M Ijaz and Assistant Professor Cardiology Dr Zeeshan Ghaus to report to the department. The two doctors, who were involved in a physical altercation, have been directed to report to the department.

Meanwhile, a three-member inquiry committee comprising Executive Director PIC Prof Dr Bilal Mohiuddin, Special Monitoring Officer Ahad Dogar and Medical Superintendent PIC Shoaib Aslam, has been formed to investigate the matter and report to the department within 48 hours.
