This refers to the editorial, ‘No glory’ (June 10). According to the editorial, Pakistan couldn’t meet any qualifying standard to participate in the upcoming World Olympics. After 1948, this is the first time that our country will be unable to make market to the world Olympics. A multitude of factors are responsible for this situation – nepotism and terrorism leading the way.
However, we should not be disdappointed. If we promote a culture of meritocracy and curb militancy, we will be able to regain our lost glory.
