After a four-and-a-half-year absence, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has resumed its operations to Europe. PIA incurred significant losses during the closure of the profitable European route, worsening its debt woes. Undoubtedly, the former PTI aviation minister caused massive damage to the aviation sector due to his irresponsible statements.
Resultantly, Pakistanis continued traveling abroad at very high costs. The efforts made by the PIA and civil aviation authorities to relieve this burden are highly laudable.
