SIALKOT/LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the Honhaar Scholarship Programme for Gujranwala Division on Wednesday.
During her visit, she distributed Honhaar Scholarship cheques to the 10 top-performing students of the Government College Women University (GCWU), Sialkot. The students expressed excitement and joy upon her arrival. She took selfies and pictures with students who presented Kalam-e-Iqbal. In line with CM’s directives, a guard of honour was presented to the talented students.
Under the Honhaar Scholarship Programme, 1,947 students from Gujranwala Division will receive scholarships amounting to Rs8.98 crore. This includes 1,276 students from government universities (Rs5.85 crore), 481 college students (Rs1.32 crore), 112 students from private educational institutions and 78 medical students.
