KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs1,400 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following a decline in the international market.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs277,900 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs1,201 to Rs238,254.Gold rates decreased by $14 to $2,661 per ounce in the international market. Silver rates remained the same at Rs3,350 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood unchanged at Rs2,872.08.
Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
