KP govt committed to providing all possible facilities to public: minister

MINGORA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperatives Fazal Hakeem Khan Yousafzai on Saturday said that the provincial government was committed to providing the best health services and addressing other issues facing the public.

He was speaking at a meeting to discuss the further enhancement of treatment facilities and address administrative matters at Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital. Members of the national and provincial assembly Saleem Rehman and Sohail Sultan Advocate, Chairman of the District Development Advisory Committee Swat Akhtar Khan Advocate, City Mayor Shahid Ali Khan, Chief Executive Prof Dr Israrul Haq, and MS Prof Dr Naeemullah Khan were present on the occasion.

The minister said that the provincial government was making every effort to address the healthcare challenges faced by the community. “We have always pledged to serve the people, and we will continue to work tirelessly to fulfill our promises,” he added. He reassured the hospital management and other stakeholders that the government was committed to ensuring the good health of the public and would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving health facilities.

The minister directed the Chief Executive and MS of Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital to take immediate steps to enhance healthcare provisions and ensure that patients receive the best possible care. He assured that the government would work closely with the hospital’s administration to address the health issues in the region.

“We will be there at all times to support the betterment of Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital and serve the public interest,” Fazal Hakeem added.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to improving healthcare services at the hospital, with an emphasis on providing quality care to the people of Swat.
